Conexus is working with a Global market leader in the fashion & apparel industry who is currently seeking a BTP Solution Architect to join their team in Portugal to help them accelerate their S/4HANA journey and be the most technology-driven businesses in the industry.

The Opportunity
We are working closely with the Global Leadership to supercharge their S4/HANA journey and their next key hire is a BTP Solution Architect to break down stakeholder & business requirements and produce comprehensive designs to drive the project forward.
You will become an integral part of our team, enhancing their collective capabilities and enabling them to drive forward an increased number of projects. As a team, both collaboratively and individually, you will actively engage in implementing, contributing to, and releasing process enhancements and automation solutions.

Responsibilities Include:
- Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to create scalable SAP BTP solutions, including technical specs, system architecture, and integrations.
- Technical Expertise: Stay current with SAP BTP tech, serve as an expert, and recommend optimal solutions.
- System Integration: Seamlessly integrate SAP BTP with other systems, ensuring smooth data flow and process efficiency.
- Custom Development: Assess custom development needs and oversee or contribute to SAP BTP custom app creation.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor development teams, promote best practices, and drive technical excellence.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance SAP BTP performance, addressing bottlenecks and issues.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure SAP BTP solutions meet security and compliance standards, proactively addressing risks.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive SAP BTP documentation, including design specs and guides.
You will need:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on SAP BTP.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP BTP technologies and components, including Cloud Foundry, SAP HANA, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP Integration Suite.
- Strong understanding of system integration principles and best practices.
- Experience with custom development within the SAP BTP environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards relevant to SAP BTP.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- SAP certifications in relevant areas are a plus.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices is advantageous.
