Your Impact
As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in guiding senior stakeholders through architectural decisions and leading the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data solutions. You'll help clients modernise complex system landscapes, build scalable cloud platforms, and integrate cutting-edge AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture Leadership: Design and modernise data ecosystems across MDM, CRM, ERP, and cloud platforms.
- Cloud Data Platform Development: Architect and implement high-performance platforms using AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or Databricks.
- Integrated Solutions: Build seamless integrations between data platforms and AI/GenAI systems.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the firm at industry events and contribute to market positioning.
- Team Development: Mentor junior consultants and shape internal capability building across regions.
What We're Looking For
- Experience:
- 4+ years as a Data Architect with hands-on cloud platform implementation.
- Strong engineering background with experience in data modelling, integration, and DevOps.
- Familiarity with coding quality tools (e.g., SonarQube) and AI coding assistants.
- Exposure to structured, semi-structured, and graph-based data models.
- Bonus: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
- Leadership & Communication:
- Strong client-facing presence and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to lead teams, estimate delivery effort, and produce architecture blueprints.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in modelling methods (e.g., DAMA, TOGAF), including Data Vault and dimensional modelling.
- Experience with modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Lambda, Medallion).
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (e.g., DBT, Informatica) and event-driven architecture.
- Programming skills in SQL, Python, Spark; familiarity with big data formats (Parquet, Iceberg).
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English; German and/or French highly preferred.
