Freelance BI Specialist Opportunity - Dubai
We're supporting a leading consultancy on a high-impact engagement with a leading construction and engineering client based in Dubai. They're looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to help transform project data into clear, actionable insights across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture BI/reporting needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Design and develop intuitive dashboards and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI.
Build and maintain robust data models and ETL pipelines to support real-time and strategic reporting.
Visualise and interpret large datasets to identify trends, track performance, and support business decisions.
Partner with data engineers and backend teams to optimise data pipelines and warehouse structures.
Apply advanced analytics for forecasting, trend analysis, and project performance monitoring.
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and governance across BI platforms.
Provide documentation and training for end-users to ensure tools are effectively adopted.
Leverage data from Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) tools (Build, Insight, BIM 360) to support construction analytics, risk identification, and reporting.
Your profile:
Proven experience in BI solution development using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI.
Strong data modelling, ETL, and visualisation capabilities.
Experience working with construction-related analytics or platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of data integration, quality, and governance principles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Self-driven, problem-solving mindset and passion for turning data into insight.
