MLR & Content Architect
We are partnering with a leading global healthcare organisation to appoint an experienced Solution Architect to lead end-to-end architecture across their content, compliance, automation, and digital ecosystem.
This is a strategic architecture role for someone who can see the full technology landscape as one connected system - designing scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Solution Architecture
* Define and own end-to-end solution architectures across content management, MLR, automation, data, and digital platforms
* Design modular, scalable architectures that support global standards while enabling local flexibility
* Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and compliance requirements
* Drive seamless integration between enterprise systems, third-party tools, and cloud platforms
Technology Integration & Connectivity
* Act as the primary architect responsible for connecting all technologies within the content and compliance ecosystem
* Define integration patterns (APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture, data synchronization)
* Ensure consistent data models and master data alignment
* Partner with infrastructure, security, and data teams to deliver resilient, compliant solutions
Business & Process Alignment
* Translate business processes and automation needs into robust technical designs
* Provide architectural guidance during process design to avoid unnecessary complexity and technical debt
* Ensure technology decisions directly support optimized business outcomes
Governance & Technical Leadership
* Define and maintain architecture standards, documentation, and reference models
* Review and approve designs from internal teams and external vendors
* Identify and mitigate architectural risks, scalability constraints, and integration challenges
* Mentor solution and platform architects across the organisation
Vendor & Platform Management
* Evaluate and select technology platforms aligned with architectural principles
* Ensure vendor solutions align with long-term digital strategy and roadmap
* Support contract and SOW reviews from a technical perspective
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
* Monitor emerging technologies in content, automation, and digital platforms
* Identify opportunities to simplify architecture, reduce redundancy, and improve performance
* Contribute to the evolution of the digital technology landscape
Required Experience
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
* 10+ years of experience in solution, system integration, or enterprise architecture
* Proven experience designing complex, multi-platform architectures in regulated environments (pharma, healthcare, or similar)
* Strong expertise in content management platforms, workflow/automation tools, integration technologies, and cloud architecture
* Hands-on experience with API design, middleware, event-driven architecture, and data integration patterns
* Strong understanding of security, privacy, and compliance requirements
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior business stakeholders
