What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to implement data-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of Azure-based data infrastructure in partnership with our data/platform architects.
  • Build state-of-the-art data pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Integrate new data sources into our Azure Data Lake and monitor pipeline performance.
  • Bring your own ideas and contribute confidently to the dynamic team environment.

What we would like from you:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with Azure data engineering tech stack or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data science/machine learning packages.
  • Experience with Databricks preferred.
  • Strong software engineering skills including DevOps and Git workflows.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with BW is a plus.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; German proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a self-organising environment and a continuous learning mindset.
