Job description
We are seeking a Technical Lead to join our high achieving European team. As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for owning and running deliverables within technical areas, such as ABAP, PI/PO, EDI, BI/BW, FIORI, and Data Migration. The successful candidate will lead the technical areas and be responsible for the overall delivery of work within the specific areas with high client satisfaction while managing a team of consultants both onsite and offshore.
Responsibilities:
- Overall accountable for the successful delivery of work captured within specific technical competency areas on time and in the expected quality
- Participate in strategic level workshops with customers and advise on development architecture and execution architecture
- Advice and influence customers to adopt new technologies
- System landscape design and management of landscape within Keep System Running (KSR) and project requirements
- Advise on technical approach for all systems integrating to SAP and manage 3rd party dependencies related to SAP environment
- Manage technical scope, architecture analysis, design, build, test and deployment
- Work with the Project Manager/Program Manager in defining the Build plan and integrating the build plan within the master project plan
- Lead the execution of assigned project tasks in areas of demonstrated competence (ABAP, PI/PO, EDI, FIORI, Data Migration). This includes facilitating meetings/task groups, tracking and managing task group progress, tracking project deliverables, etc.
- Manage all SAP technical changes related to developments, integrations and system landscape and architecture
- Assist in sizing of the SAP solution and managing of process with the hardware provider/hosting provider
Requirements:
- Deep proficiency in the core technical areas (ABAP, PI/PO, EDI, BI, FIORI, Data Migration) with at least 10 years of work experience
- Experience in playing lead roles within the respective technical areas
- Minimum of 5 full cycle implementations, with at least 2 S/4 HANA Implementation
- SAP Functional knowledge would be an added advantage
- Thorough understanding of integrated business environments
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Leadership capabilities, result orientation, conceptual thinking, and innovative mindset
- Ability and willingness to take on new initiatives/technologies
- Fluent in English (Fluency in Spanish/Portuguese is an advantage)
