Job description


Our leading pharmaceutical client are currently searching for a SAP Master Data Manager to support them with their upcoming transformations. As a Master Data Manager, you will be crucial in supporting our clients Supply Chain and Operations teams by creating, monitoring, and analysing master data, key data, and master data relationships in line with MRPII (Manufacturing Resource Planning) standards.

Responsibilities

  • Data Quality: Ensure the integrity and quality of master data in key systems.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data quality issues and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts to define and implement data strategies, policies, controls, and programs.
  • Process Documentation: Develop and document processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing data maintenance and integrity.
  • Initiative Management: Handle data initiative issues and updates to meet internal and customer requirements.
  • System Alignment: Maintain master data integrity across financial systems and collaborate with business/IT to align master data rules and operations.
  • SAP Data Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of Master Data in SAP in adherence to MRPII standards.
  • MDM Adherence: Ensure that Master Data Management (MDM) processes are in place and followed to achieve target accuracy levels.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP Production/Master Data, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in a regulated manufacturing/processing environment such as pharmaceuticals, FMCGs, food, automotive, or similar industries.
  • ERP Expertise: Solid understanding of ERP (SAP) systems and connections between different types of Master Data, ideally in a manufacturing/industrial environment, SAP, and APO.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF, SUMIF, etc.
  • Project Experience: Previous project implementation experience is an advantage.
  • Professional Skills: Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and proficiency in personal computer and business solutions software.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and maintain composure during uncertain times.
