SAP ICMR Configurator - Freelance
North Carolina (Remote + Occasional Onsite)

We are working with a global client who are seeking an experienced SAP ICMR Configurator to support their S/4HANA Finance transformation. This role will play a pivotal part in optimising intercompany reconciliation processes across multiple entities, ensuring a smooth and controlled month-end close.
Your Responsibilities:
Configure ICMR (matching methods, rules, worklists, reconciliation cases, tolerances).
Optimize automation by defining document selection criteria and data filters.
Align master data with FI/CO and MDG teams (company codes, trading partners, profit centres).
Conduct testing (unit, integration, regression) and refine configuration to maximise match rates.
Support month-end close, monitor ICMR runs, and troubleshoot issues.
Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to finance teams.
Drive continuous improvements to streamline processes and reduce manual adjustments.
What We're Looking For:
Proven hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA ICMR configuration.
Strong knowledge of intercompany processes (AP/AR, GL, billing).
Deep understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA), ledger setup, and trading partner config.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on automation and accuracy.
Strong communication skills for collaboration with finance and IT stakeholders.
