Job description

Our international FMCG client is expanding its SAP Centre of Excellence and is currently seeking a highly experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP EWM, with working knowledge of related logistics modules such as MM (Materials Management), WM (Warehouse Management), and DSD (Direct Store Delivery). This role is critical to driving end-to-end warehouse and logistics process excellence across global operations, particularly as the organization transitions to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP EWM solution design, configuration, and deployment across complex warehouse and logistics environments.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP EWM functional specifications and technical solutions.

  • Analyze and optimize warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, RF/UI5) using best practices in SAP EWM.

  • Support and improve integration with MM, WM, and DSD modules to ensure seamless logistics operations.

  • Manage full lifecycle project deliverables: blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and hypercare support.

  • Oversee solution rollout and ensure adoption by closely working with warehouse operations and IT teams.

  • Provide 3rd-level EWM support and manage escalations in collaboration with the global SAP support team.

  • Mentor internal team members and external partners; act as SME during the S/4HANA migration project.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging EWM functionality such as Yard Management, Labor Management, and MFS (Material Flow System), if applicable.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP EWM (decentralized or embedded). Additional experience in MM, WM, and DSD is advantageous. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and Advanced Logistics functionalities is highly desirable.

  • Project Work: Proven success in at least two full-cycle SAP EWM implementations and involvement in S/4HANA transformation projects.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to work across cross-functional and international teams, and a proactive mindset in problem-solving and optimization.
