Job Title: SAP EWM Application Manager
Company Overview: Our client is a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Germany, who have recently undergone a large acquisition by a private equity firm. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP EWM Application Manager to lead the development, implementation, and management of our SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) application on a global level.
Job Overview: The SAP EWM Application Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's SAP EWM application, including development, implementation, and maintenance of the system. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP EWM and the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in managing complex SAP projects on a global level.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of the SAP EWM application, ensuring that it meets the needs of the business and is aligned with the company's overall IT strategy.
- Lead and manage a team of SAP EWM professionals, providing coaching, development, and performance management to ensure that the team delivers high-quality services.
- Work closely with other IT teams, stakeholders, and business users to ensure that the SAP EWM application is fully integrated with other systems and processes.
- Develop and implement best practices for SAP EWM system management, including change management, testing, and documentation.
- Ensure that the SAP EWM application is aligned with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Collaborate with other IT leaders to ensure that the SAP EWM application is aligned with the company's overall IT strategy and business goals.
- Manage relationships with SAP vendors and service providers to ensure that the company is up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in SAP EWM management, with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex SAP EWM projects on a global scale.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and other relevant SAP modules, including MM and SD.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of SAP EWM professionals to deliver high-quality services.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential, and German language skills are essential (B1+)
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis, both domestically and internationally.
