Job description
Conexus is currently sourcing for an experienced SAP AFC Consultant / Design Lead to join one of the world's largest software development companies on an initial contract until November 2025 with potential extensions and be responsible for end-to-end configuration of AFC in an S/4HANA environment, supporting up to 140 company codes and integrating with SAP communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain SAP AFC in the S/4HANA back-end system
- Set localization parameters, register programs, and define variables
- Create and manage task models, task list templates, and task dependencies
- Implement and validate Account Balance checks in coordination with Finance
- Transport AFC configurations across systems throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage OSS notes and SAP system incidents
- Contribute to Customer Influence Requests for the AFC product team
- Set up a Global Task List Template for up to 140 company codes within one controlling area and 1,000+ tasks
- Integrate AFC with SAP TM (Transportation Management) and other communication systems
- Work closely with Finance, Technical, and Integration teams
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP Financials; 2+ years in SAP AFC
- Strong knowledge of S/4HANA financial close processes and best practices
- Experience with AFC integration into SAP modules such as SAP TM
- Familiarity with OSS incident handling and system transport procedures
- Proven ability to manage AFC configuration across global entities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
