Working for the Global IT team at our client in the Prosthetics industry as a Lead Architect is an exciting and impactful role within a forward-thinking organization. As a central partner in our client's global business, you play a pivotal role in shaping the technological landscape, leading the evaluation, design, and implementation of cutting-edge infrastructure solutions. You will be at the forefront of developing strategic roadmaps, enabling innovation, and enhancing customer experiences by identifying and bridging operational gaps. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies and collaborate with product and service owners to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
Your Duties:
- Lead the evaluation, design, analysis, and implementation of solutions across various infrastructure applications or technologies based on enterprise standards.
- Develop and execute a roadmap for evolving the enterprise solution portfolio.
- Enhance customer experience by identifying and addressing gaps in operational and project activities, recommending improvements to IT processes and tools.
- Collaborate with product and service owners and the program management office (PMO) to ensure project plans align with deliverables.
- Act as a technology consultant to stakeholders, driving targeted IT business outcomes.
- Support communities of practice, guiding agile teams, service, and product owners to align with overall enterprise architecture governance and strategy.
- Manage international migration and lifecycle projects independently.
What We Would Like From You:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, system analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least seven years of experience in multiple IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or cloud development.
- Proven experience in developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps.
- Skilled in delivering presentations to senior executives and technical audiences.
- Knowledgeable in various aspects of technology architecture, such as integration, network, and security.
- Familiar with financial models and budgeting.
- Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
- Capable of working with developers in an outsourced environment.
- Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Competent in understanding both long-term and short-term perspectives of situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to managing interdependencies.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, along with required flexibility and mobility.
