Our client is an international pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Germany. Our company has recently undergone a large acquisition by a private equity firm, and we are looking for a highly experienced Global Head of IT Infrastructure to lead and oversee our company's IT infrastructure operations on a global level.
Job Overview
The Global Head of IT Infrastructure will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of our company's IT infrastructure on a global scale. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex IT infrastructure projects and operations, and ideally have an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and relevant regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies that support the company's business goals and objectives on a global level.
- Manage and oversee the implementation of IT infrastructure projects, including hardware, software, and networking systems, to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Ensure the integrity, availability, and security of the company's IT infrastructure, including disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the company's IT infrastructure is up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
- Manage a team of IT professionals and provide leadership, coaching, and development to ensure that they are equipped to deliver high-quality IT infrastructure services.
- Work collaboratively with other senior executives to ensure that the company's IT infrastructure is aligned with business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading complex IT infrastructure projects on a global scale.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and automation.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of IT professionals to deliver high-quality services.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential, and be able to communicate in German.
- Willingness to travel, both domestically and internationally.
