This is what you'll be doing as a Business Development Manager:

  • Identifying and pursuing New Business Opportunities - you will be responsible for researching and identifying new clients and developing strategies to win their business

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients - you will be the primary point of contact for clients and will need to build and maintain strong relationships with them

  • Managing client accounts - you will be responsible for managing the clients account including identifying their recruitment needs and ensuring that a high level of service is provided

  • Negotiating contracts - you will need to negotiate contracts with clients including agreeing on terms, fees and service level agreements

  • Managing the sales process - you will be responsible for managing the sales process from initial conversation through to closing deals

  • Reporting and analysis - you will need to provide regular updates on business performance and market trends, including analysing data and suggesting improvements

  • Keeping up to date with industry developments - you will need to keep up to date with developments in your industry including changes to employment law specific to the country your client operates in and emerging recruitment trends and new technologies

What we are looking for in a Business Development Manager:

  • A proven track record of new business development skills within a recruitment setting, ideally on a global scale

  • Ideally SAP, Tech and Data industry knowledge

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Business acumen to drive growth and make informed decisions

  • A strong work ethic and a results-driven mindset

  • A winners mentality
