Conexus are looking for Cyber Security Architects to join a Remote project for a Global Consultancy.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in security architecture and cyber risk assessment.
- Experience in conducting security architecture reviews and interpreting threat models.
- Familiarity with assessing and improving vendor security through questionnaires and contracts.
- Understanding of security-related functional and non-functional requirements.
- Proficiency in Disaster Recovery, including developing recovery tiers, assessing current strategies, and conducting testing.
- Ability to collaborate with Solution Managers and vendors to ensure DR documentation and testing are thorough and effective.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive security architecture reviews, assessing the effectiveness of existing security controls, identifying vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and regulatory non-compliance. Summarise findings, provide recommendations, and generate actionable reports.
- Facilitate and support vendor security assessment questionnaires to ensure risk reduction and alignment with business quality requirements.
- Evaluate the impact of security-related functional and non-functional requirements on systems, including authentication, authorisation, encryption, data confidentiality, and compliance.
- Interpret preliminary and updated threat models, including identifying assets, system entry points, access trust levels, threats, vulnerabilities, and risk mitigation strategies.
