​In 2023, the Conexus team took to the spin-bikes once again, this time choosing Munich as the next destination, raising awareness for Disability Sport Wales. The team covered the distance from Barcelona to Munich at our local UFIT gym. With Barcelona being the destination for 2022, as we’d just opened our latest office there, we landed on Munich as our next destination, as the city was a hotspot for us where we made the most placements in 2023. From the 6th to the 8th of October, our team covered 1373.2km in a thrilling cyclathon. But this wasn't just an endurance test for us; it's a meaningful initiative to support a cause we deeply believe in.

​The Conexus team raised over £1000 for their 2022 chosen charity Tŷ Hafan. In celebration of Conexus launching the opening of our Barcelona office, the team took on the challenge of running, walking and cycling 748 miles, the equivalent distance between the two locations, working out as 34 miles per team member. Clocking up that distance alone wasn’t quite challenging enough, so we decided to give ourselves just 3 weeks to get it done, from the 5th to the 25th of September. We donned our green Tŷ Hafan t-shirts and clocked up our miles both individually and as a group, as well as getting some of our four-legged friends involved. We took advantage of our complimentary UFIT membership and spent a few of our lunchtimes racking up the miles as a team on the spin bikes!
