Supply Chain Planning Solution Architect
Location
- Preferred location: Vienna, Austria.
- Switzerland could be considered, as could other production sites.
- 100% on site.
- Candidates can relocate to Vienna from elsewhere in the EU
Candidate Profile
- Looking for someone who combines strong business communication skills with solid technical knowledge.
- The title "Solution Architect" is quite broad. They are open to candidates who are:
- Solution Architects.
- Senior Functional Consultants.
- Technical Consultants with strong solution design experience.
- Configuration specialists with business facing capabilities.
- The focus is on solution design for planning processes and detailed Kinaxis configuration, rather than enterprise architecture.
Kinaxis Experience
- Full scope already live, including:
- Demand Planning.
- Supply Planning.
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Significant roadmap of future enhancements.
- Martin will want to understand:
- Number of end to end Kinaxis implementations completed.
- Which Kinaxis certifications the candidate holds.
- Strong preference for candidates with Kinaxis Contributor Certification.
- A highly capable Functional Consultant with certifications and good stakeholder management could be suitable.
SAP & Integration
- Strong SAP integration experience is important.
- Experience integrating Kinaxis with SAP through multiple backend interfaces.
- Candidates from an SAP background with strong integration experience could also be a good fit.
Current Hiring Challenges
- Most candidates interviewed have only had high level Kinaxis exposure.
- Many have implemented other planning platforms (such as o9) but not Kinaxis specifically.
- The key gap has been practical, hands on Kinaxis implementation experience.
