Conexus are currently working exclusively with the fastest-growing delivery player in Europe, Africa and Western Asia, who are looking for a Senior SAP S4/HANA FI /CO Consultant to join their team in Barcelona on a permanent basis.

  • Senior SAP S4/HANA Finance & Controlling Analyst will be responsible for design, build, maintain and enhance SAP Finance & Controlling applications in the areas of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Banking & Payments, Cost Center Accounting, PCA, Internal Orders, CO-PA.
  • Process design, IFRS based global template definition, Integration with other modules (MM, SD, Financial Planning, Consolidation) including Analytics and developing Migration and Roll out strategy.
  • Must understand that success comes from coordination, oversight, and effectively delivering against timelines.

Be a part of a team where your responsibilities are:
  • Understanding & mapping all accounting and controlling processes to SAP with an aim for a high level of automation, compliance, and control
  • Closely working with our Global Finance Team & external Solution Architects
  • Design the standard processes (GL, AR, AP, AA, Banking & Payments)
  • Define Global Template based on IFRS
  • System configuration and build
  • RICEFW Design / Development and Testing
  • Develop data migration strategy and its implementation
  • E2E functional expert on SAP accounting processes and adviser to finance department on best practices
  • Working closely with Regional/Country Finance teams
  • To understand local requirements
  • Design & develop solutions to meet solutions to fulfil the gaps
  • Tax & Compliance reporting
  • Closely working with our global finance performance team & external solution architects to design and configure business processes in SAP CO with high level of automation to ensure: Management of flow of cost & revenue (incl. cost/revenue assignment & management), Transparent allocation and management of overhead functions, Setup of consistent and analytically accurate cost by cost / revenue by revenue - objects (cost & profit centers, WBS), Tracking and transparent analysis of planned and actual cost
  • Owning the blueprint of CO setup, interfaces and reports
  • Integration with other modules (Purchasing, Billing, Analytics etc) from Finance perspective
  • Lead system integrations, mergers or acquisitions within SAP
  • End user training & support during and after the project implementation including support during financial closing

We are looking for somebody with:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP FI/CO modules with approx. 3 years in SAP S4/HANA FI-AA, FI-AR/AP, FI-GL, FI-CA, CO-PA, CO-CCA, EC-PCA, Multi-Ledger Reporting as well as very good Integrations knowledge with other modules e.g. SD/MM/Treasury.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting E2E processes & financial statements in IFRS (knowledge in any additional local GAAP is a plus - esp. Spain, Poland, Italy Romania, or Ukraine)
  • Studies in business informatics, informatics, business administration, Financial Accounting or similar
  • Experience in all life cycles of an SAP Projects in International environment
  • Excellence communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Great Team Player together with excellent Leadership skills
  • Able to work efficiently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
  • Background in project management - Fluent English and knowledge of any other European language is a plus
