SAP CO Lead - Contract

S/4HANA Transformation | Global Consultancy | Slovakia Based

We are working with a global consulting firm, hiring an SAP CO Lead to support a large S/4HANA transformation programme. This role focuses on shaping Controlling processes within a complex, project and service-driven environment.

You will take ownership of CO across the programme, working closely with Finance and delivery teams to define how costing, revenue and project-based accounting are structured in the new system.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the end-to-end design of SAP Controlling (CO) within S/4HANA
  • Define and implement product costing and revenue recognition approaches
  • Ensure CO is properly integrated with project and service-based processes
  • Work with business stakeholders to translate finance requirements into system design
  • Guide decision-making during workshops and design reviews
  • Support build, testing and issue resolution where needed
  • Provide oversight through go-live and early lifecycle support
  • Act as the senior CO specialist within the wider SAP team

What they're looking for

  • Strong track record in SAP CO delivery, ideally in a lead or senior role
  • Proven experience across product costing and revenue recognition
  • Experience integrating CO with project and service-driven environments
  • Background in greenfield S/4HANA implementations
  • Familiarity with Fiori from a user or delivery perspective
  • Comfortable working in a consulting environment with client-facing responsibility
  • Fluent English
  • EU citizenship required
  • Willing to travel occasionally to Finland
