Job description
Conexus is partnered with a Global Consulting Company to source a Senior Infrastructure QA Engineer.
This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of software systems, a strong background in testing infrastructure, and expertise in automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in developing software systems using Python, API, and microservices.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, including scalability, performance, and security.
- Extensive experience in infrastructure testing: functional, regression, security, and integration testing.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols (L2-L4), services, and network principles.
- Strong command of Linux, shell scripting, and other command-line utilities.
- Familiarity with test automation tools like pytest.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Tekton, Argo Workflows, Argo CD).
- Knowledge of GitOps practices using ArgoCD / Flux.
- Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Previous Experience:
- Senior-level experience in product development, with a proven track record of designing and implementing secure software solutions.
- Hands-on experience in automated infrastructure testing and managing build/deployment pipelines.
- Practical knowledge of public cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Familiarity with TestRail, Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience troubleshooting complex problems with a focus on root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
- Self-motivated and proactive in addressing technical challenges, with a strong focus on reliability and security throughout development and operations.
